As Hull Season Sponsor 2004, the Barclays
logo was prominently placed on all our publicity material
for the whole five-day run including approximately 700 posters,
21,000 flyers and 10,000 direct mail letters. Barclays were
also credited in all our press releases and on the associated
education work.
We held several events at the theatre
allowing Barclays guests to attend a performance of Swan Lake
and hear from our artistic staff beforehand to help their
enjoyment of the production.
“Every one of us thoroughly
enjoyed the performance and the first class treatment we received.
We all felt so looked after by everyone and the ballet, which
was a first for many of us, was excellent. Please pass on
our thanks to everyone who made our night out so special”

“I have to admit I was unsure
whether I would enjoy it, being a bit of a novice on the ballet
front. In the event I thought it was excellent; I really,
genuinely enjoyed it. From a Barclays point of view, congratulations
on a nice, well-organised event.”

Barclays also supported an education
project successfully working towards integrating Asylum Seekers
and Refugees with the general community.
Overall, Janette Blythe, Community
